Kern County Sheriff officials released the following statement:
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for burglary.
On August 17, 2015, sometime during night time hours, the suspect entered the First Southern Hispanic Baptist Church at 2657 Niles in east Bakersfield and stole several items of property.
If anyone has information on this suspect they are asked to call Detective Brooks at 661-391-7612, the Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110, or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040.
