Local Congressman and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy post a picture alongside three Kern County Firefighters Saturday night after they were honored with the Red Cross Kern County Heroes Awards.
Representative McCarthy posed with Captain Thomas Nicoll, Engineer Brian Allen and Firefighter Ryder White after they were awarded the Fire Rescue Heroes Award.
They were awarded for their part in helping a man who was trapped in his home with Multiple Sclerosis during the Erskine Fire.
