Ticket prices could soon be soaring, at certain locations that is. Starting in 2018, some Regal Cinemas will be charging more for movies that do better among customers, and less for those that don't.
Movies that play during the less popular times of the day would also cost less.
There is no word as to whether Edwards Bakersfield Stadium 14, which is owned by Regal Cinemas, will take part in the testing of surge prices for movies.
