An attempted robbery that turned into a wild goose chase ended in two arrests after a Bakersfield Police canine took down one of the suspects.
A neighbor called police after spotting an attempted robbery in progress before 11 a.m. Thursday morning in a neighborhood bear Harris and Akers streets.
Once police arrived, the suspects fled the scene.
The male and female crime duo were eventually captured and booked into city jails.
