The 33rd annual Bakersfield Toy Run to benefit the Salvation Army will be held Sunday December 11, 2016.

All motorcyclists and auto enthusiasts are invited to decorate their rides and gather at Beach Park for a parade of toys that will leave at 10:00 a.m. sharp. The ride will leave Beach Park and end at the Kern County Fairgrounds.

Vehicles will begin lining up by 7:00 a.m. There will be free coffee and donuts available courtesy of the Salvation Army.

The entrance fee is an unwrapped toy and a non-perishable food item (combined value of a minimum of $20) or a $20 cash donation per person.

The donation is tax deductible and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the local branch of the Salvation Army for use in providing food and toys to the needy.

There will be door prizes, food, beverages, live music and trophies for the best "Christmas" decorated bike and car at the fairground location.

Non-riders are welcome to join the event at the fairground for the same entrance fee.

Licensed drivers only. Sorry, no ATV's, UTV's or golf carts allowed.
