A new report by WalletHub says Bakersfield residents' average credit score is 642. With that average, Bakersfield ranks as 2180 in a list of 2534 U.S. cities, placing us in the 14th percentile.
The city with the highest average in America is The Villages, Florida with a score of 779; the highest in California is Los Altos, with an average score of 757.
The city with the lowest average was Camden, New Jersey with a score of 566; the lowest in California was Adelanto, with an average score of 605.
