WASCO, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner's Office identified the man killed in a drive-by shooting in Wasco Saturday as 20-year-old Santiago Mejia Rodriguez.
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, deputies found Rodriguez shot in the area of Gaston Street and 16th Street just after 7:40 p.m. Saturday. Rodrigues was taken to Kern Medical Center by helicopter where he later died from his injuries.
According to KCSO the suspects fired from a vehicle but at this time there is no suspect information or car description.
