BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Pacific Gas and Electric surprised a Bakersfield High School student with a PG&E ‘Better Together Scholarship’ during the school’s senior awards ceremony.
It was a night of honor for all students. But, for BHS senior Ross Dalke, it became an extra special occasion.
During the ceremony, Ross was presented with a $20,000 scholarship, which will give him a head start on financial stability as he gears up for higher education.
He is heading to Cal Poly to study engineering.
