Arvin wants to ban spice, a synthetic marijuana that can have dangerous consequences to those who use it.

The city is asking for public comment on the ban tonight. The hearing on the proposed ordinance will start at 6pm at the City Council Chambers.

If approved, the ordinance would ban the use, possession and sale of spice in Arvin city limits.
