Nearly a week after breaking out, fire fighters now have the Sand Fire 65 percent contained. 

The blaze is covering more than 38,000 acres burning in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Right now more than 2,750 firefighters are battling the blaze, which ignited on July 22.
