Thursday night's storm flooded Highland High School's parking lot and the orchestra pit on campus.
The orchestra students were in the middle of a performance when the pit started to fill with water. The parents and students were moved out of the auditorium and crews moved in to pump the water out of the area.
Drivers say the area in the northeast is known for flooding but they have never seen it get this bad.
Remember that if you see high waters don't drown, turn around.
