GLENVILLE, California – An illegal cultivation of marijuana was located in an isolated part of the Glenville area on Tuesday.
Illegal cultivators gained access to an orange orchard in the foothills between Delano and Glenville.
Deputies found two separate marijuana grows planted inside the orange orchard. Nearly 700 marijuana plants were removed during the course of the investigation.
Pesticides and evidence of water diversion were also discovered.
No suspects have been identified or arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
