UPDATE: According to the Kern County Fire Department, the fire is now covering 20 acres and is at 40% containment. 

130 firefighters are on the scene. 

Crews will be working overnight to mop up the fire. Officials say they should be done by 9 a.m. tomorrow.

The Kern County Fire Department is battling a fire in Rosamond.

It started around 11 a.m. Sunday near Champagne Ave and 170th St. West. 

KCFD said the fire is currently at 80 acres and growing.
