With 100 percent of the precincts reporting in the city of Bakersfield, it looks like Kyle Carter and Karen Goh will be headed to a runoff in November in their race to become the city's mayor.
Carter is the top vote getter with 13,031 votes, or 33.23 percent of the votes. Goh was right behind with 12,774 votes, or 32.58 percent.
The next closest was T.J. Esposito with 1,442 votes.
Carter and Goh will now head to a November runoff to replace Harvey Hall, who announced in February he would not seek a fifth term as Bakersfield's mayor.
