Bakersfield congressman and house majority leader Kevin McCarthy is expected to meet with Donald Trump this Thursday.
He wants to know if Trump can unify the Republican Party.
“We're going to find a way that we can unite. There's something’s I disagree with Donald Trump on. I want to make sure we have a very conservative approach to government. I'm concerned about the supreme court", says McCarthy.
There's still a vacancy on the Supreme Court bench right now after justice Antonin Scalia's unexpected death and republicans have been battling president Obama's nomination of Merrick Garland.
McCarthy and Trump plan to meet this Thursday at the Republican National committee’s Capitol Hill headquarters.
