Bakersfield Police are investigating a shooting that left one man with major injuries. Just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning police got a call of shots fired in the area of Planz and Stine in Southwest Bakersfield.
Once police arrived on scene they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police determined his injuries to be major and was transported to Kern Medical in critical condition. The intersection of Planz and Stine are closed by BPD. They did not say when it will reopen.
