UPDATE (2:50 a.m. July 4): The Coroner has idenitifed the man killed in Wasco as 53-year-old Filadelfo Pacheco of Wasco.

UPDATE (9:45 P.M. 7/3): CHP Officials say the man who died was driving a Suzuki, and did not stop at a stop sign, then crashed into a Chevy Tahoe.

The man killed has not been identified.

CHP also says the two young men in the Tahoe were thrown from the car.

They were taken to Kern Medical with moderate to major injuries.

Officers did not say if drugs or alcohol were involved.

California Highway Patrol officers and Kern County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a deadly crash just northwest of Wasco.

According to CHP, two cars crashed and both vehicles rolled over near the intersection of McCombs Avenue and Wildwood Road. It happened at about 5:50 p.m. on Monday. 

The victim who died in the crash has not yet been identified and the cause is still under investigation.
