The Eastbound lanes of Highway 58 are currently closed after reports of a brush fire near Bealeville Road at Highway 223.

The number one lane is currently open. The second lane remains closed.

The blaze reportedly started after a vehicle caught on fire near the right hand shoulder of the road and quickly spread.

Witnesses tell 23ABC that the driver is being treated by emergency crews. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

It is unclear how large the fire is at this time.
