Bakersfield Police officials say one person has moderate to major injuries in a collision that occurred on Niles St. and Beale Ave. late Saturday morning.
According to BPD official Dennis Moore, at around 11:41 am, they responded to a call of a injury collision involving two vehicles.
The crash involved a White SUV and a grey sedan.
Moore said both cars were driving in opposite directions when they collided.
One person was transported to a local hospital for injuries.
It's unknown at this time how many people were involved.
Officials don't believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
The intersection was closed for a short time.
