UPDATE (Dec. 16, 2016, 10:26 a.m.): The Garces Holiday Soccer Festival has been cancelled due to the rain.
Multiple sites have unplayable fields, which led to the cancellation. Garces is in the process of rescheduling the tournament with a tentative date of January 6 and 7.

The 2016 Garces Holiday Soccer Festival begins today, December 16!
Multiple Kern County teams will be participating as well as teams from around the state. There will be 204 matches in a little over 24 hours this weekend.
With 165 teams coming out, this is the 27th year that Garces has held the event.
Be sure to be cautious in the area as there may be an influx of traffic and school buses transporting teams.
