Family and friends welcomed home the 30th Kern County Honor Flight Friday night.

Aboard the flight were 28 veterans of the World War II and Korean Wars.

Their trip to the nations capitol was funded by 'Honor Flight,' a non-profit organization created to honor veterans with the mission of sending them to Washington, D.C.
