23 ABC obtained the 911 recording leading up to the arrest of a pediatrician for leaving her two children unattended in a minivan.

Then the caller realized the mother of the children is Christie Yee, a pediatrician at the medical clinic nearby.

Police say Yee left the children alone twice that day; once to see patients and a second time for her own doctor's appointment. The caller says the children looked healthy and had been fed.

Yee was arrested and her children were taken into CPS custody after finding unsafe living conditions at their home. Her husband who is also a doctor admitted this wasn’t the first time- the children had been left unattended in the car.

Yee is due in court in April and is facing child endangerment charges.
