Today a youth football training camp hosted by Xtreme Youth Athletics 661 is being held in Southwest Bakersfield from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It is for ages five through 18. It will be at State Farm Bakersfield Sports Village off of Taft Highway and Ashe. Not only is this a training camp but it also involves a meet and greet with Superbowl 50 Champion #99, George Uko, from the Denver Broncos. Other professional athletes in attendance are Anthony Brown, Larry Parker and Rashan Shanelle.
At this event there will be food vendors, musical performances and raffles. Just attending the event is free to the public. However, if you want to take part in the training camp there is a 30 dollar training registration fee.
