UPDATE: CHP says there were four people involved in the crash on the I-5 and Old River, including an infant.
CHP officials say one person suffered major injuries and two people suffered minor to moderate injuries. The extent of injuries to the infant are not known. However, the CHP says the infant was alert.
The CHP says the "suspect vehicle" either made minor contact or may have just cut off the vehicle carrying the four people, leading it off the road. That car ended up catching fire.
There's no information on the suspect vehicle.
