UPDATE (5:38 a.m.): The Amber Alert for Aaliyah Gomez has been cancelled.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Aaliyah was dropped off with family in Temecula.
The suspect, Julio Gomez, is still on the loose.

An Amber Alert was issued in California for five year old Aaliyah Gomez who went missing Sunday.
Aaliyah was taken from Lemoore, California by the suspect who may be traveling toward the Mexico border.
Aaliyah is described as a Hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is four feet and weighs 40 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt, black leggings, and no shoes.
The vehicle that Aaliyah was taken in as brown 2006 Chevron Colorado with California license plate 8C25215.
The suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Julio Gomez. He's listed as 5-foot-7, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and Puma sandals. He has tattoos on his chest, arms, neck and calves. He's considered armed and dangerous. It's not known if the two are related.
