A restaurant in Arvin has been temporarily shut down after concerns that it doesn't currently have hot water, Kern County Health Officials said Wednesday.

Hazte El Loko at 792 Bear Mountain Boulevard has been closed for at least a few days after operating without hot water, which the company didn't immediately disclose to health officials, said Michelle Corson with the Health Department.

The restaurant is expected to remain closed through at least the remainder of the day, Corson said.
