The Bakersfield Business Conference is just a few weeks away -- and its presence is already being felt as organizers have begun setting up one of the big tents.
The tent is being erected on the California State University Bakersfield campus in Southwest Bakersfield, where the event will be held on Saturday, October 8.
Some of the biggest names in the political scene are expected to be at this year's conference, including Rick Perry, Laura Ingraham, and Ann Coulter. Other celebrities include Magic Johnson, Diante Keaton, and Vicki Lawrence.

This year marks the first time the conference has been in Bakersfield since 2010.
