On June 21, 2017 at 3:49 p.m. the Bakersfield Fire Department responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident with one possible “pin-in” at the intersection of Chester Avenue and 18th Street.
First arriving BFD Firefighters reported a two-vehicle accident with one driver still inside of one vehicle. BFD Engine Company Firefighters began triaging patients and stabilized both vehicles.
It was determined that no occupants were “pinned in” and only one patient suffered minor injuries. That patient was transported to an area hospital for further evaluation.
No Firefighter injuries were reported.
