The Bakersfield Homeless Center is hosting their annual Thanksgiving dinner Sunday. 

The family-focused tradition has been held for two decades and is being held once again for current and past residents of the Bakersfield Homeless Center. 

Last year BHC successfully fed over 500 people at the Thanksgiving meal and we expect to serve the same amount this year. 

"It is important to help families who live with us and also those we have placed into homes so they can gather together as a family this holiday season, " said BHC's CEO, Louis Gill.  

The Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings will be served on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the Bakersfield Homeless Center located at 1600 East Truxtun Avenue from 3p.m.-5p.m.
