In honor of National Child Health Day, pediatric patients and families at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital were given a treat.
Golden Heart Books brought in books signed by Disney characters and local firefighters and police officers.
Yogurtland also brought in treats to the Lauren Small Children’s Center. Until October 19, Yogurtland in the Shops at River Walk will be collecting donations.
Every dollar raised will help babies and children at the Lauren Small Children's Center at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital.
