Crews from the Bakersfield branch of Pacific Gas & Electric are in the West Palm Beach area of Florida aiding with recovery efforts after Hurricane Irma knocked out power in the area.
"Yesterday, 100 linemen began patrolling the area looking for downed power lines, toppled trees and other storm damage that caused power outages," according to PG&E.
The linemen are using 50 Florida Power and Light trucks as they work on repairing and replacing damaged infrastructure in the area.
