Police are investigating a shooting in south Bakersfield that left one person with moderate to major injuries.
Police said they responded to Penelope Place near Pacheco Rd and H St. around 1 a.m.
Officials said they found a 25 year old man suffering from multiple, non-life threatening injuries.
He was taken to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The suspect, Demetrius Bailey, 54, was arrested nearby without inicident. Police have not found the weapon that was used.
Bailey will be booked on attempted murder.
