A Bakersfield Police detective charged in a federal drug possession case has taken a plea deal.
In federal court documents obtained by 23ABC, Diaz, will plead guilty to bribery, possession of meth, and making a false tax return.
He's due in a federal courtroom next Tuesday afternoon.
As part of the plea deal, he's expected to serve a reduced sentence.
