Bakersfield police are investigating a wrong-way car crash that occurred early Thursday afternoon.
Officers were originally pursuing the vehicle, but pulled back when the driver began driving the wrong way down 24th Street. It was last seen turning onto Beech Street, north of 24th Street when it crashed near that location.

There were two Hispanic men seen running from the car and BPD confirmed that the car was stolen.
A four-block radius was created to locate the suspects.
