The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in locating the suspect(s) responsible for an assault which occurred in the Walmart parking lot, 8400 Rosedale Hwy.
On August 26, at about 11:31 p.m., the victim was placing her infant in a car seat when a truck pulled alongside her. Two suspects, unknown description, sat up in the truck bed and threw eggs at the victim.
The infant was nearly struck in the head with one of the eggs. The victim was not injured.
The truck is described as a: 2000’s Chevrolet 1500, Extended Cab, white, 4X4, lifted with off road tires, and chrome step bars on each side underneath doors.
