Average retail gas prices in Bakersfield have risen 2.7 cents per gallon in the past week, according to GasBuddy.com.

The price per gallon was $2.78 on average Sunday. In 2015 at this time, the average price for gas was $2.93 per gallon.

Gas in Los Angeles is $2.84 per gallon on average. The national average increased 1.5 cents in the past week to $2.22 a gallon.
