The Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House is expanding.

Founder, Fred Hill, was in town earlier this month to make the special announcement.

Four bedrooms will be added to the current three-bedroom facility.

Guests like Mike Baker, were excited about the opportunity to meet Hill and thank him for establishing a much-needed organization.

Ronald McDonald houses all over the world house provide out of town families shelter while loved ones are hospitalized, a home away from home.

Expansion on the Bakersfield house is expected to begin next year.
