Will Bakersfield mayor Harvey Hall be running for a fifth term?

He plans to make his decision by early next week. 

The mayor's office tells 23ABC that Mayor Hall will announce his plans on Tuesday afternoon.

He was first elected in 1994.

Meanwhile, Tuesday begins the filing period for anyone hoping to run for mayor and the primary municipal election will be held on June 7th.
