Bakersfield City School District teachers will receive a $50,000 grant from the BCSD Education Foundation at their next Board of Education meeting on Tuesday.

The foundation raises money to be able to provide resources that will help push students forward in their education. They've raised money at events like golf tournaments, picnics and other fund raisers.

The check will be presented during the meeting that will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 24.
