A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting death on Lowell Park.

On Sunday, Bakersfield Police arrested 19-year-old Nicholas Lancaster, who they say is a suspect in the death of Damion Wafford.

Wafford was found shot to death Thursday afternoon at Lowell Park in the 800 block of 4th Street.

Police say Lancaster was involved in a "weapons related incident" at Lowell Park on Wednesday along with another person, 19-year-old Deon Martinez. Martinez was also arrested in connection with the Wednesday incident. Both face gun and gang charges for the Wednesday incident.

Two suspects tied to the murder of Wafford are still on the loose.
