BPD: Employees rob shopper at pot collective

Bakersfield police have arrested two people accused of robbing a shopper at the LOL Marijuana Collective.

At about 8:50 p.m. on Friday, Bakersfield police officers were sent to the LOL Marijuana Collective located at 941 Baker St.

Officers said they found a victim who had been robbed at gun point and knife point by the employees in the business. 

Officers went to the business where they contacted Bakersfield residents 49-year-old Ennis Body and 24-year-old Armando Medrano who were in possession of a firearm and machete that were used in the offense and personal items belonging to the victim that were taken during the robbery.

Body and Medrano were arrested on charges of rbbery, conspiracy and felons in possession of a firearm and ammunition.

They were booked into the Kern County Jail.
