Bakersfield Police arrested a man they said was found passed out in his car with a firearm strapped to his chest.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Allen and Reina Roads in northwest Bakersfield at around 7:20 p.m. Monday, where they found Fabian Rizo, 31, asleep in a vehicle and a "firearm strapped to his chest," the department said in a press release.
"The firearm was loaded with 31 rounds of ammunition," BPD officials said in the release. "Rizo was determined to be under the influence and was arrested for DUI, narcotic sales, and firearm charges."
