BPD investigating two overnight shootings

The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating two shootings from overnight.

The first shooting happened around 8:30 pm in the 1100 block of 34th Street. An adult male was located at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries. 

The second shooting initially came in as calls of a loud party in the 6000 block of Charmain St. 

When police arrived, they received reports of shots fired and located an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his lower extremities. He was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

No suspect information is available for either shooting.
