The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance identifying and locating a subject who possibly attempted to lure a 13-year old juvenile into his car.

 

On January 15, 2016 at about 7:45 a.m. the subject drove next to the juvenile while she was walking in the 10000 block of Prairie Stone Pl. and asked her if she wanted a ride.

 

When she refused, he left the area in the vehicle, which is described as a silver 2008-2010 Toyota Highlander SUV with stickers visible on the rear window.

 

The subject is described as a Black male, 20-30, dark complexion.
