According to The Bakersfield Police Department, theyare asking for the community’s help in locating two suspects who are wanted for mail theft and identity theft.

Two suspects identified as Blake Wayne Reed and Jason Jerry Rigsby removed mail from an individual unlocked residential mailbox on September 3, located near the 4100 block of Cabarnet Drive.

After the men obtaining the victims mail, both Reed and Rigsby used the victim’s information to attempt to open credit accounts in the victim’s name; however they were never be able to. Reed and Rigsby currently have felony warrants for their arrest for mail theft, identity theft and conspiracy. 

21-year-old Blake Wayne Reed can be identified as a white male,185 pounds, blonde hair and blue eyes.

40-year-old Jason Jerry Rigsby can be identified as a white male, 220 pounds, blonde hair and blue eyes.
