BPD needs help locating Yokuts Park stabbing suspect

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for assault with a deadly weapon.

On June 22, 2017 at 10:47 a.m., officers were dispatched to Yokuts Park, located at 4200 Empire Drive for a stabbing that had just occurred.

Officers contacted the adult male victim who had sustained non-life threatening stab wounds to his upper torso, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Officers determined the victim was near Yokuts Park when he became involved in an altercation with the suspect, at which time the suspect removed a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect fled on foot and is described as a:

White male, 30-40 years of age, blonde hair, goatee, with tattoos on his arms and neck.
