Bakersfield Police are searching for a second suspect who lead them on a high-speed chase from Bakersfield to an orchard near Lerdo Highway.
According to BPD officials, At about 7:30 p.m. on Friday, police made a traffic stop and the car they pulled over began to take off.
A pursuit began, taking police and the suspects northbound along Highway 99 to Lerdo Highway.
Near the intersection of Industrial Farm Road and Lerdo Highway, the suspects headed into an orchard.
Police were able to eventually arrest one of the two suspects inside the car. A perimeter has been setup as police continue to search for the second suspect inside the orchard.
