BPD: Suspect tried to lure teenager from home

Bakersfield Police have released a composite sketch of a suspect involved in suspicious circumstances.

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance identifying and locating a suspect.

On April 21, 2016 at about 4:00 p.m. a suspect came to the front door of a residence in the 11800 Block of Dakota Hills Avenue. The suspect used a ruse to try and lure a teenage female out of her house. After she declined, the suspect left in a vehicle similar to that which is pictured below. 

The suspect is described as a White male, 30-40, 5’8”-5’10”, 200 lbs, clean shaven, light colored eyes, reddish complexion (similar to a sunburn). His vehicle is described as a newer white Ford Focus, 4-door.
