The community is invited to join the Bakersfield Police Department for a safety day with the BPD Bomb Squad, K-9 Unit, SWAT Team, Traffic Division, and other members of your police department for a day of fun, education, and community involvement.
On Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., the Bakersfield Police Department will host its first of two community events for 2016.
This meeting will be held at Silver Creek Park and in addition to the events, we will focus on issues and concerns in West Bakersfield Zones. This is your opportunity to ask questions of the Bakersfield Police Department and interact with its personnel.
All community members and media are encouraged to attend.
