East Bakersfield business catches fire for second time since August

A business in East Bakersfield went up in flames for a second time since August. 

According to the Bakersfield Fire Department, the blaze broke out just after 7:00 a.m. on Bernard Street between Kern and Tulare Streets, near a tire company. 

Fire officials said the office building was vacant at the time of the fire and that it was likely caused by squatters. 

The business had aprevious fire back in August.
